ABOUT
Packaging is a vital component in the marketing of a product. Its what consumers see as they browse through the shelves of merchandise. How do we make our product stand out from the others and promote ourselves as something worth trying? From the aesthetics, function and form, packaging is a versatile way to play with design and establish a brand language in the market.
"HANAYU TEAS" (2019)
"Hanayu Teas." was a particularly fun project for me, being able to have more freedom with the stylistic choice and aesthetic of the packaging. Keeping things minimal to represent the simple clean taste of tea while playing with colors and imagery to represent the flavors, I designed a simple, functional box to store the teabags that coincides with the minimalistic graphics. An added feature was the teabags which I sewed to mimic a flower.
