Hello !
My name is Jayne and I was born on the 18th of February 2002 in Singapore. As a visual learner and person, arts and design have always been aspects of life that i would associate myself closely with. Product design has exposed me to new key elements of design apart from just the aesthetics of the product, to design for the benefit and aid of the user through empathy and understanding. This has given me new appreciation for the process, learning not only the hard skills but valuable soft skills that I hold great importance to.
As the design process involves emotional and objective outlooks, my goal in my design journey for the future is to be able to allow my works to evoke positive emotions and experiences in return for the user, apart from the fundamental aspects of functionality, form and aesthetics. I believe in always enriching my learning through my work and to highlight shortcomings that I may have, to always improve the next time.
